HarrahKids Bucks

You may have heard of or encountered some strange new forms of currency called “Harrah Bucks” for short. These bucks are the basis of a point system that we use to reward students for good behavior, Scripture memory and completion of God Time Card activities. Students will be able to redeem their Harrah Bucks for prizes at different times of the year. These prizes will range from some candy to a Nerf Gun to Dolls to a Game System.

We believe that this point system will add us in controlling behavior and will provide incentives to students to study at home.

Ask your son or daughter each week if they earned any Harrah Bucks this week.

Students will need to return their HarrahBucks to the Worship Apprentice at the end of each activity. The Worship Apprentice will record each student’s earnings and take the HarrahBucks from them for use during the next week.

Jeremy, I know the food pantry needs items. Could we challenge the kids to bring a can of food to church on Wed. night and be rewarded with a Harrah Buck or piece of candy? Or maybe we could have a challenge to the three groups and the one that brings the most food gets to do something special.

    • That is a great idea. We could definitely do something like that. I will talk to Crystal about what they need and we will try to get it going as our February emphasis. I think a can for a buck would be great.
