Volunteer Appreciation Team has chosen 2 people to recognize for their passion towards “Developing families in Christ with an I CAN attitude.”
Laura is so genuine, transparent and speaks truth into the life of all that are around her.
She is always willing to help at any time and volunteers in many areas of HarrahChurch: HarrahKIDS Team Leader, Volunteer Appreciation Team Captain, Church Office Volunteer, and with her husband they lead the Juniper Project.
There are no strangers that come in her path and is a great friend to all those who are around her. She has a strong passionate heart for God and it shows in everything she does.
Lisa steps into positions that need the most help. She is very sweet, encouraging, and always reaching out to help others. She has a tender voice and patient heart for kids. You will never need to ask her for anything because she is already asking what she can do for you. She displays the genuine warmth and love of God!

HarrahKIDS Ministry is growing each week!
More volunteers are wanted as we continue to develop a program that impacts kids of all ages.
Here are just a few of the volunteer opportunities:
- 1s, 2s , 3s, 1st grade, 2nd grade KIDS Small Group Leaders
- 0-12 Months Baby Cuddlers
- Fill Ins – filling in for team members who are unavailable
- Team Leaders – has a heart to help, lead, & provide support for the HarrahKIDS Team
- 2s & Elementary Curriculum Organizers– prepares materials for monthly activities

May Volunteer Recognition
Volunteer Appreciation Team has chosen 2 people who are “Developing families in Christ with an I CAN attitude.”
Donna is so committed and loving to the babies. She cuddles, plays with them, and gives them each individual attention. She gives them that special grandma love and you can see the happiness in the babies, as well as Donna!
When Donna is asked: ”Why do you serve in HarrahKIDS?”
Donna’s answer is: ”I just go through the doors God opens for me ”
Lora is so creative and such a great inspiration to have with the kids. She tries to bring fun into the classroom each week. Her imagination really helps to reach the Kindergartens. The kids are always having fun and I would believe that Lora is having to much fun herself!
When Lora is asked: ”Why do you serve in HarrahKIDS?”
Lora’s answer is: ”It is an amazing responsibility and honor to be in a position that impacts little lives for Christ. I love, more than anything, to see great big smiles, sparkling eyes, and the enthusiasm that the kindergarten kids have for God”

Are your KIDS ready for three characters of the Bible
that will grow them in a BIG way?
At Oakridge Camp get ready to hear about Esther, David, & John the Baptists who were outcasts, but
how God used them in Mighty ways.
Want to go but you’re too old? Sign up to be a group sponsor!
Want to help but can’t go? Sponsor a child with a scholarship that may need it the most!
We are looking for an LPN / RN to take with us, all expenses paid.
If you were unable to attend the meeting, need payment arrangements, or want to apply for a scholarship, contact Danelle Rush to set up a meeting.
When: June 20-24, 2011
*Leave at Noon, June 20th
*Return around Noon, June 24th
Where: Oakridge Christian Camp
Anadarko, Oklahoma
Who: Students completing 2nd – 6th grade
*Younger children can attend with parents who are sponsors.
Cost for those children:
3yrs & under free, 4-5yrs is $109 per child.
Cost: $150 per camper
$80 per sponsor
*$50 deposit due at meeting to register
Registration Deadline: June 5th
Payment Deadline: June 12th

Volunteer Appreciation Team has chosen 2 people for their commitment and dedication to Developing Kids In Christ .
Jamin Alato is so good with the kids by getting them involved however needed, even if he needs to put mud on his eyes to teach them about the blind man. It’s wonderful seeing a young man like Jamin teaching kids the love of christ and showing how much God loves them. The kids just think he is awesome! He takes on whatever role is needed at the church and has currently been training for media tech during the kids worship experience. Jamin’s commitment at his age is quite commendable!
When Jamin is asked: ”Why do you serve in HarrahKIDS?”
His answer is: ”I love the kids and it makes it all worth it to get the hugs from them!”
Russell Myatt is always excited to see the babies and they even get excited when they see him. Moms will hand their babies over to him, even when he’s not in the nursery just because the babies are wanting him. It’s amazing to see a man so committed with all his heart to the kids and his fellow volunteers. He adores the kids, and they adore him too! Russell is the baby whisperer!!!
When Russell is asked: ”Why do you serve in HarrahKIDS?”
His answer is: ”I started staying in the nursery for my daughter, but got attached to all the other babies too. Hey, what can I say…it is fun to play with the kids and I like to have fun!”
