Peace
This month we have teaching our kids the virtue of Peace. I know that by the end of the summer and in all of this heat that tempers have probably starting flaring up for the kids and parents. (Insert an amen here) Now that the kids are going back to school and will begin interacting with other kids and face all kinds of trials it is important for them to know how to keep the peace with their friends, their family, and with their enemies. I would love to hear stories about how your students are using this month’s virtue and Bible stories and applying them to the situations that they are encountering at church.
Peace is proving that you care more about others than winning an argument.
“Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.” Romans 14:19 NIV

Easter Egg Hunt for 30,000 eggs, inflatables, free food and drinks, cotton candy, sno cones, games and much more. Free to the public.
This is going to be one party that your children won’t want to miss. We are expecting more than 3,000 people this year and we plan on blowing this thing up HarrahChurch style.
Easter Egg Hunt Times:
11:00 am – Ages 0-2 and 3-4
11:30 am – Ages 5-6
12:00 pm – Ages 7-8
12:30pm – Ages 9-11
1:00pm – Ages 12-17
1:30pm – Ages 18+

Paper Airplane Contest
Every 4th Sunday of the month during the 2nd Service Worship Care program we will be having a paper airplane contest. This will be a fun way to create some competition between the kids and as a project that parents can use with their children to provide an opportunity to speak with them about what is happening at church and what they are learning.
Planes will be judged in two categories:
- Longest Flight (Distance)
- Best Looking Plane
All planes must be made using a standard 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of paper and can be decorated in any fashion.
